In The Brand Called You, Montoya recommends sorting your client list into three buckets:

  • A Clients – Respect your time, refer others, and pay without drama. Clone them.

  • B Clients – Not terrible, but high maintenance and low leverage.

  • C Clients – Drain your time, energy, and sanity.
