Why I Am Doing Shorter Classes For Real Estate Investors?
More frequent, but shorter real estate investing classes...
Historically, we taught a single 2-hour real estate investor class each week (holidays excluded).
But, you may have noticed that I’ve been doing more frequent, shorter classes for real estate investors lately.
My friend asked me about this and I replied to him with the following, but realized you might all want to know and consider these for yourself and the classes you’re teaching to your local real estate investors.
Here’s the reasons why:
I did not want to record a 2 hour class each day.
I wanted people to be able to find content easier.
I wanted to have more podcast episodes instead of fewer, but longer podcast episodes.
I wanted the SEO benefits (to be able to use more specific titles because they are shorter topics with more specific SEO keywords)
I did want to have to try to re-record a 2-hour class if something changes... I'd rather re-record a 20-30 minute class.
I did not want to have to re-record a 2-hour class that I messed up the recording on if something happens with the recording while making it/recording it (like I forget to turn the mic on or the file gets corrupted)
I think there's a weird "more value" thing with 10 20-minute modules version 2 2-hour classes of content (240 minutes versus 200 but the 200 seems like more).
It makes it easier to make bullet points... just look at the recordings.
And... that's just a quick brain dump of why I am teaching more frequent, but shorter real estate investor classes.
What are you doing?
Love,
James Orr
